About this blog

There are seasons in life that arrive without warning — moments that test your strength, stretch your faith, and quietly reshape the way you see the world.

Heart of Anne was born in one of those seasons.

When cancer entered my life, it tried to write my story for me. Somewhere along the way, I realized I still had the pen. This blog is me taking the pen back, trusting that God is still the author.

This space is where I reflect on a journey of illness, healing, prayer and the small miracles that show up in the ordinary. I write month by month — not just about medical milestones, but about the faith that carried me, the people who held me, and the grace that appeared in unexpected places.

These pages are my letters to myself — reflections on a season that taught me, month after month, what acceptance, surrender, and hope truly look like. This is not a medical diary. It is a heart diary — a chronicle of courage, gratitude, and the quiet ways God whispered, “You are not alone.”

If you find yourself here — welcome.

May you find comfort, encouragement, or simply the reminder that even in our hardest seasons, light still finds a way in.

The Heart Behind the Logo

The logo is a simple but intentional symbol of everything this space represents. The design weaves the letter A into the shape of a heart, reflecting the way my personal journey, my reflections, and my faith are all held together at the center of who I am.

The heart speaks to love, healing, and gentleness — the values I hope shine through in every story I share. The A grounds the symbol in my own name, a reminder that this blog is a place where I show up authentically, with honesty and vulnerability.

Together, the heart and the A form a visual reminder of my commitment to live with openness, courage, and grace — and to offer a little of that to anyone who visits this space.
